[Ad# 2872] Australian Shepherd female intactMeet Reese. She is a 14 month old registered short haired Australian Shepherd. She is a deep red color - her markings look like the color of a reese cup. I run a rescue group for abused and neglected horses and occasionally will take a dog. Reece was abused - beaten so bad she had a broken back leg that is completely healed now. She was also starved - still a little thin - but coming right along. She is still a little scared around loud noises - but now loves everyone. We are working on manners - she still jumps on you when you come home. She still needs work walking on a leash. We just never take her anywhere to walk her - we live in the country. She is fully potty trained with our dog door. We tie her out during the day and bring her in during the night. She loves to run, loves toys (hide your stuffed animals!!) and even swims in our pool. She has been very well socialized with children and other animals (other dogs, cats, horses, ducks, and chickens). Reese is not a barker at all. She loves to snuggle and will sleep right on your pillow. She weighs approximately 25 pounds. She is current on all vaccinations.Reese is ready for her forever home. I am asking $50.00.
