brand new facility.

the facility grows.

WANTED:
Person with horse experience to clean stalls in exchange for free pasture board at our
stables in Finleyville, PA. Person would be in charge of picking 20-25 stalls on Mondays and
Wednesdays and then stripping and rebedding on Fridays. I have been doing all this myself and
the work usually only amounts to a total of 6-8 hours for the whole week. I will help on
Fridays since stripping the stalls takes longer. Pasture boarding includes two feedings a
day and use of tacks rooms, indoor and outdoor arena, and also direct access to Mingo park
trails. Person must also have their own means of transportation. THANK YOU!

Occasional Help with Horses
I am looking for someone to occasionally help out with the horses on our very small
farm in Claysville, PA. I would prefer someone with experience around horses, a RELIABLE
high school student that just loves horses would be great. Job duties would be simple:
watering, feeding and just general keeping an eye on the horses when we are away. Would
like to exchange for lessons, or maybe can work out pay.

Short-term Home for Holsteiner Gelding
Bright Futures Farm, Equine Sanctuary and Adoption Program has a registered
Holsteiner gelding that needs a short term (two month) home to finish his rehab.
Home must be with a skilled trainer in the English discipline. Horse is being rehabbed
from suspensory injury. Current rehab (as of 05/22/08) is 20 minutes walk/ 20 minutes
trot/ 5 minutes canter all under saddle. Rehab will continue for the next three weeks
adding 5 minutes of canter each week. At the end of the fourth week, he'll need to
start back over cavelettis.
I would rehab him myself, but I simply do not have the time right now.
Individual, if interested, will have first option to adopt horse at end of rehab.
He is also on limited turnout with a mild sedative until he starts over cavelettis.
Vet has cleard horse to jump up to 2 1/2 feet with appropriate and gradual return to work.
NO MORE THAN 2 1/2 feet.
If you are a trainer and are interested in helping us with Roscoe's rehab, your
time and expenses are tax deductible since our organization is a public charity.
Roscoe must be moved from his current location by the end of May 2008. He is current
on coggins, vaccines, farrier, de-worming. He is wearing bar shoes on front for support and
will need boots or polos for rehab and turnout.

receive them. I have seen this horse. He is a 15.3 3/4 hand 15 yo gelding. Amatuer can
easily ride him. Very easy going.
